This is just a random girl. I used a photo reference (of Zhang Zi Yi) for the pose in general, though I changed it a little bit.
What happened is that I saw an announcement on some website's classified, saying that a company was searching for artworks to sell them. They wanted those artworks to be people shown full-length. When I contacted them, I sent them links to my gallery. They were interested in my style and asked for one full-length character drawing, just to see how I was dealing with human anatomy. I was supposed to give it to them for free, without any contract, and in PSD format (one layer for the character, one for the setting if there is one...). Of course I ignored that last part and gave them a JPEG one, not too big so that they cannot use it for a print.
Of course they never replied, and they had never given me any address of phone number. Their e-mail is a yahoo stuff or something like that. I checked on the Internet to see if I could get some infos about their company, but there is nothing (it's called CSA).
So I don't know, maybe I'm too suspicious, maybe they just didn't like my style. But I've heard about many artists being stolen their art by such ways. Be careful everybody!
That's why I sent a random girl: if they use it, at least it's not an important character.
I still wanted to submit it, just to keep my gallery updated (I haven't been posting for a while!) and to tell about this story. I promise I'll post something more interesting next time
you never cease to amaze me!!
this girl is simply beautiful, i love everything from her expression, to her hair, to her pose.
i also love how pale her skin is, it's very beautiful.
ahh, i love everything about it!
you did an excellent job!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
